Oddly enough, it's the male that is still available. The past few litters we have had, the Males were the first to go. Now at first I thought maybe it's because he is so much bigger than the females, longer hair than the female maybe? It seems all the calls we have had the people only want a female. That's alright. He is by far cutier and MUCH more well behaved than the females. He is a snuggle bug too. He just wants you to hold and love on him. He puts his furry little face into your neck and just stays there. He will stay there hours if you let him. I HEART HIM!

Last night we sold the last female. Now this guy just seemed a bit off. He did not want to haggle over the price which made it easier for Alan and I. Alan's mom has these puppies priced pretty high, so as to weed out the trash that would not care for a puppy properly. You have to want a puppy pretty darn badly to pay this much money. Anyway, Alan must have explained to this guy how to get to us 100 times. I mean all he had to do was connect the darn dots and BOOM he would have been at our place. We quickly figured out why he could not find us. HE WAS HAMMERED! He must have went swimming in alcohol before he came over. He had his girlfriend driving, she barely spoke english and she looked like a cross dressing japanese/philipino hooker. Not only did he smell but she did too. Sorry for her she did not smell like alcohol, but more like she had a RAGING YEASITE GOING ON. ((shuddering))

He was basicly just jumping all around the place, could not stay still and feeding us what I felt was a whole lot of bullshit. He told us of his intentions with this puppy. Now, I am not sure if they really do this in Africa or not. I need to reseach it actually. But he told us he plans on using this puppy to hunt large game cats in Africa. He hunts a lot abroad. According to him, In Africa they will shoot a large cat such as a panther or lion, they send the Jack Russell out on the blood trail. Then shortly after they send the Jack Russell out they will send a pack of Rottweilers out after the Jack Russell. The Rotts will protect the Jack Russell from things that will eat it. HUH? Yeah..that is what I was thinking. I did not feel comfortable at all selling this puppy to him. I told Alan as much too. He just seemed like this puppy was going to be a novelty to him and once the whole puppy cutieness wore off, the puppy would be abandoned and forgotten.

When we came in from working on the house and I went to feed us something, Alan did not want to eat. He said he did not feel good to his stomach. He was worried about that puppy, the more he has thought about it, the more he just does not feel right about that guy. Now this guy had never had a puppy or dog before according to him. So this was all very new. Alan and I are hoping that the guy realizes he got himself in to deep and calls us to give the puppy back. In the mean time, If I come up with a good reason, other than I think he is a freak and his girfriend needs some Diflucan. I might just call him and try to get this puppy back!

Happy 4th everyone!

SOB this woman pisses me off! You know something? I know better than to trust the words that come out of her mouth! I FREAKING KNOW BETTER! I know not to repeat something she has said and I did it anyway! The sad part about most of the things she says is that she, does not know any better or different. She lies so much, so often and with such intensity that she does not even know she lies anymore and she in fact believes her own lies. She is a pathological liar.

Alan's dad did not have a heart attack. He has not had any heart attacks that they know of. He did go to the hospital in case he was having a heart attack. That much is true. However, he did not stay in the hospital. According to the liar, I mean my MIL she said they told him that he needed to change his ways or he would have a heart attack. The pain in his chest he was having was kind of like a warning sign before the real heart attack happens. Well sure, that makes sense. So what was the pain he had that made him break out into a cold sweat? HEART BURN! SEVERE HEART BURN. Which according to my MIL is a heart attack. You get heart burn before you have a heart attack. So if indeed the liar, I mean my MIL, gosh I keep doing that, is right, then most of us have had a heart attack at some point in our lives. Did I mention she has an 8th grade education which is equal to a doctorate where she comes from. Heart burn means heart attack. Every cariologist knows that right? GRRRR!!!!!!

Alan's dad does need to change his eating habits. They all do. They eat 95% of their meals from fast food places and what does get cooked at home is very very unhealthy. HOWEVER,in Greg's defense he does work physically hard every single day, moving, walking. lifting. He works from sun up till sun down. He is not over weight at all. Heck, he is over 50 has a six pack for abs and has bigger fore arms than Alan does. He is pretty ripped for a 50 year old bald dude. LOL! So, at least he burns a lot of what he does eat off. PLUS, he eats maybe twice a day if he is lucky. Most of the time, it's only lunch. So it's not like his intake is 7000 calories and 500 grams of fat.

So I vow to not repeat my MIL words unless I am going to verify indeed she is telling the truth or quote her out of sub context to make fun of her! HMPH!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-07-02T16:52:42Z</dcterms:modified>

That's Funny

Somebody typed in the words "PLAY DOUGH NIPPLES" and found my site. That cracks me up. Not nearly as funny as some of the other ways people have found my site and not nearly as funny as other blogers sites have been found. However, today I find this just plain funny.

Maybe it's because I have the giggles already today. I will totally blame my new favorite morning drink for the giggles. Mountain Dew Voltage, Raspberry Dew with Ginseng. YUMMY! Never in my mind would I have ever thought I would become a SODA in the morning person! NEVER! Now that, I fully blame Alan for. He has been a terrible influence on my eatting habits. I have never given into what others do, peer pressure or other wise before. But for some reason Alan screws me up! LOL! That's my story and I am sticking to it!

Back to the DEW. This stuff gives me the giggles. Why? No clue! Yes it does have a bit of caffeine in it. BUT NOTHING compared to my 10-12 cups of coffee a day habit. Yes, I am almost a pot a day drinker! SHOCKING! (boo, hiss..suckit alright) The ginseng? Whatever, so it all must be in my mind right? I mean..it has to be! I get about half way through the can and start thinking everything is kind of funny. Namely myself and the converstaions I tend to have more of with myself. Odd? Yeah, kind of scary more like it. I caught myself talking to myself while driving this morning. Namely talking to other drivers, doing stupid voices and making fun of the radio commericals and the voices they were using. Then using the radio voices to make fun of the people driving and walking around me. Then laughing that I was doing this, then realizing I was laughing at myself doing these things. Does that all make sense? Don't worry about it. The point is..I am a mess. You knew that already didn't you?

So you add in the DEW the COFFEE and I can still plop down on this desk right this minute and fall asleep. I might shake in my sleep the entire time but I will be sleeping. I can prove this cause I closed my eyes a moment ago while peeing and started to doze off.

Oh..and Alan's mom called last night around 11:15 to tell us his dad had a heart attack and this was most likely the 2nd one he has had in a week!

The joy of it all!

Makes me giggle!!!!!

I should state that I am not giggling that Alan's dad had a heart attack. I like him a lot, he is the only normal one out of them all. I am however laughing that so many things are happening at once good, bad and otherwise that all once can do right now is laugh. If I don't you might find me in a corner hitting my head against the wall, rocking back and forth and laughing!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-07-01T16:18:19Z</dcterms:modified>

Speedy Post

The in-laws came over this past Sunday. Brought 4 puppies with them. MIL said she was not leaving them, only bringing them for these people that had called to look at them. She left them. Thankfully a family bought 1. We have 1 male and 2 females. Cute as can be..but that is a lot of poop and pee. We cleaned out the storage room in the garage and baby gated them inside there. They have shelter, room to play and A/C.

Alan brought back not 1, not 2, not 3..but 4 turtles from Oklahoma. 2 Females and 2 Males. Some of them have been mating already. Yay Me! This also means, caring for the little guys. Making fruit veggie salads to eat and I am the offical bug catcher to feed them as well. I HATE BUGS! Oh..and this is not funny but 2 of these turtles that Alan found, we were on our way to the viewing for Kelsey, they had to stay in my jeep on the rubber floor boards. Ok, Fine. NO...These stupid things climbed up on to my leather seats and took dumps all over the seats, console and the rubber mats. Talk about being one pissed off girl when I went back to the jeep to grab my lip gloss! Alan, found it hilarious. Later that night when he was sleeping..I put a June Bug down his tighty whites! HMPH! Fugger!

House..not done. BankFine? OH YEAH! Gonna be able to afford this house now..Uh..Looks like I will be returning to hotel management very very soon to afford it! Yay me!

Plumbers causing the hold up? Balls still attached to their bodies but not for long after I get a hold of them today!

Critters...Let's see, First there was a Coyote that was slinking around. Then last Wednesday night Justin decided to try and befriend a SKUNK. Skunk 1, Justin -1. That was a fun! Monday morning go to check on the puppies and let them out. Standing in the yard and watch a Bob Cat slinking along the back fence headed towards the hills!

Sanity..what Sanity?

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-06-26T17:19:19Z</dcterms:modified>

For The Fun Of It

Our fellow blogger Hillary a few months ago made a comment about some pictures I have up in my albums. She asked if the pictures of the pond at my in-laws house in Gallup was my land where I am building my house. I had forgotten to answer her question until today. So I decided I would also post a few pictures of what the surrounding area/lots that are for sale look like. As well as the listing information from the Real Estate company. So just for fun, here ya go!

Peralta Farms Offer Beautiful Lush Acres With Scenic Building Sites For The Equestrian At Heart. Still Available Are 2 3-acre Sites With Amazing Views, Underground Utilities,Irrigation Plus A Roping Size Arena For Home Owners Use. Restricted To 2000sq.Ft. Or Larger Custom Homes.

I apparently need to be more specific in this entry for everyone. I am not building my house on the same land that has the pond, the land that belongs to my inlaws in Gallup, 2 hours away from where I live in Peralta. I would drown myself in that pond before I would live that close to mylaws, the below pictures are of the LAND where I live in Peralta where there is no pond. Sorry for the confusion guys. Oh..and I answered Hilary on her own blog about her asking if that pond is where I am building my house. Again, I apologize.

Guys I started this entry last week. Two of the times my compooper froze. Actually it did the 3rd time as well. BUT...some how my compooper accounting software fixed something and oddly enough, it appeared where I had once thought I saved it! So here it is...WARNING..IF YOU NEED A NAP THIS BLOG IS FOR YOU. IF YOUR TRYING TO STAY AWAKE..DON'T READ IT! LOL!!!

I am not really sure where to start this. I was struggling in the earlier entry as to where I should begin and what to say and what to leave out and even what form I should say it all in. Story, bullets, all ran together randomly. I guess it was better I lost the entry anyway now that I think about it.

Let’s start with Tuesday morning. Alan had received a text from his mom saying that Kelsey, his cousin had been killed in a car accident. After Alan sent me the text I ended up calling him. Alan and I had been talking to Kelsey lately about her moving here and going to college. I was deeply concerned as to whether or not her 10 month old daughter Avery was in the car with her. Whether she was alright or not? Alan did not know at the time, he had not asked his mom and she had said nothing about the baby. Later in the day Alan spoke to his mom again and asked about the baby. His mom told him that it was not the twin that had the baby last year it was the other one, the one going to school in Wilburton. In that case that would be Kayla who was killed in the accident.

Late Tuesday night Alan speaks to his mom again and she tells him that they are holding a memorial service for Kayla on Friday in Oklahoma and then they will bury her in VanderWagen next to her brother and grandfather at the family cemetery. Alan and I think we are off the hook about going back east for services.

Wednesday morning a little after 7am, Alan’s dad Greg, calls and says he is just 20 mins from our house, he will be there shortly. Alan asks him "for what?" Greg tells him to pick him up to ride with him and his brother. Alan said, "I thought they were burying her out here?" Greg tells him NO and that the services are Friday at 8am. Alan tells his dad that he can not go right now, he has to work today. They talk about a few other things house related and job related and hang up. Out of that conversation it turns into, ALAN IS NOT GOING AT ALL. So the phone calls begin about what a horrible person he is, that I am, selfish for putting the house first, jobs have to let us go it’s against the law if they don’t (his mom told him that, retard) then finally it turned into, TRISH IS NOT LETTING ALAN GO. Alan’s mom and sister concocted a story that his grandma wanted him there because she was planning something that she needed HIM there. We later found out that was a lie and his sister admitted to it before we left. Regardless, we were planning on going, but we needed to know WHEN THE SERVICES WERE AND WHERE. In Oklahoma, New Mexico, Thursday, Friday, WHAT? Nobody could tell us and everyone back there was not answering his phone calls.

Wednesday afternoon Alan speaks to his sister, they still do not know if they will have services Friday or maybe Saturday now because some people can not make it by Friday. Alan speaks to her about the accident. They still don’t know for sure what happened. Alan uses Kayla’s name and his sister tells him it was Kelsey that died. Alan asked what is going to happen to the baby now? His sister said nothing and asked why? They spoke a bit more and she tells him that Kelsey is not the one with the baby, Kayla is the one with the baby. (We know it’s not Kayla that has the baby) Alan tells her no Kelsey has the baby. She says she is pretty sure it’s Kayla , she sitting right beside her right now. Alan hangs up the phone.

We did not get to leave until Thursday morning. Alan had to work late Wednesday night. He did not get out of work till after 8:30. So we ended up leaving at 7:30 Thursday morning. Before we got to Oklahoma his grandma had called and told us that a family friend had brought their travel trailer over to an RV park they were staying at and we no longer needed to get a hotel 50 miles away from where everyone would be. That was a huge relief, saved us a lot of money right there. This travel trailer was so nice and HUGE compared to what Alan and I have. His grandmas is a little rinky dink cheapo compared to this one. They kept calling her’s MOTEL 6 and Alan and I’s the MARRIOTT. Cracked me up too cause, we had TWO ROOMS with beds in ours and all of them still insisted on stuffing themselves in her trailer. Suit yourselves!

When we got there it was late. We headed to Alan’s other grandparents house first. Alan’s dad, brother and sister were over there. We visited with them for a while and then left. We then went to Alan’s aunts house. His aunt was asleep with the baby at the time but we were able to determine that it was KELSEY, the one that HAS THE BABY that passed.

Breaks my heart. Poor Avery! To only have had her momma for a short 10 months of her life. Better to have known her mom for that short time than never at all. Still, it was just so heart breaking. There were huge, beautiful pictures of her everywhere. Her uncle and step dad, the only dad she has ever really known were making a slide show of her life when we got there. Makes my throat swell up just thinking about it. Kelsey was only 18. She would have been 19 in July.

Alan’s aunt Debbie has had to bury a child before. I can not imagine what she feels like having to bury not 1 but now 2 of her children. NO PARENT AND I MEAN NO PARENT should ever have to bury a child. Especially due to something so tragic. The first child she had to bury, Alan’s cousin Justin, was only 4 years old. Debbie was on her way to home from work, she was about 5 mins from the house. She was late getting off from work and her husband at the time needed to be at work. The twins were 9 at the time, old enough to be alone for a few mins and watch over their brother. Justin was supposedly napping when Glen left for work, the girls were watching TV. Justin had woke up and went outside and was playing with his trucks behind Glens truck. He was in such a hurry to leave he did not notice Justin and ran him over. In such a hurry he ran him over and did not know it and kept going. Debbie pulled up to find Justin. It was to late. His tiny head had been run over, crushing his skull.

The part where Alan's cousins live in Oklahoma is a rural one. Most of Oklahoma kind of is anyway in my opinion. Where the accident occurred was about a 30 minute drive from the nearest hospital on one lane, winding mountain roads. The ambulances out there are volunteer. They have more of a basic training. Nothing like an EMT in a larger city. Right after the accident happened, about 5 mins Kelsey’s uncle Tom happened on the accident. She was alive and complaining her leg hurt her. Tom said it was clearly broken. It took about 20 mins for an ambulance to get to them. She was to be transported to McAlester regional. On the way there she was complaining she could not breathe. They got her to the hospital within an hour of the accident. At the hospital they were going to stabilize her then Life Flight to Tulsa. Life flight had been dispatched and was on it’s way. In the mean time she coded. This is where it gets a bit sketchy, either McAlester regional did not check for internal bleeding or could not check for it, nobody could tell me. I asked Debbie’s good friend Todd if there was medical negligence in this all or a possible law suit. He said..It is possible. GRRR!!! You know I understand being in the back woods of the mountains and being far away from good medical attention. That is a risk you take by living in those areas unfortunately. It’s not like in the pan handle of OK where it’s easy to bring a helicopter in. This is deep in the mountains. There was no where to land Life Flight. But if this hospital failed to assess her correctly because she went in there talking and joking and they assumed! Well you better believe your ass I would be suing some people!

Services ended up being on Saturday at 10am. That was the longest funeral I have ever been to in my entire life. I kid you not! It was almost 2pm before we even left the High School where the services were held to go in the procession to the cemetery at Sardis Lake. This was one of the most beautiful cemeteries too. Overlooking the lake in the mountians. Beautiful! Not to mention, Sardis being one of the places Kelsey loved to be. Out on the jet-skis, water skiing, wake boarding or just tanning. The services continued for about 30 more minutes at the cemetery. Alan's aunt Debbie asked her immediate family to stay with her and be by her side while Kelsey was lowered into the ground. It was close to 4pm by the time we were headed over to the little church where the dinner was. Alan and I were drenched with sweat and decided to stop by our trailer to change our clothes and pick up the wedding album and the lap top that had the house pictures on it before going to the dinner. After the dinner we had promised his other grandparents we would come by and show them our pictures. It saved us an extra 30 mins of driving back and forth. By the time we got to the dinner, everything was put up food wise. Not even some cookies. Now, this is not a place where you can even stop off at a gas station and pick up a bag of chips easily. That is how rual we are talking. We stayed and visited for a little while. Alan's aunt Debbie loaded us up with flowers and plants from the funeral. More than we needed to bring back home and she wanted to give us more but we simply did not have the room.

We then headed over to Alan's other grandparents house that live in Talihina and visited with them. We tried to do it quickly but that did not work. They wanted to talk and talk and talk. Normally this would have been fine, but the fact Alan and I were past the 24 hour mark without food. I was ready to be out of there and back to Debbies where I knew there was food. Once we got to Debbies, they told us to go eat. Happily Alan and I went into the kitchen. We were told there was a brand new lasagna in the oven. I opened the oven to get it out, it was hot, but uh...MOLDY! I mean MOLDY! Alan's grandma came in and told us it would be fine cause it had been heated, the heat kills the germs. UH...NO! I am not eating moldy food heated or not! I have no desire to have the runs while driving home the next day! There was lots of deserts and some pasta salad left. I ate pasta salad and Alan ate 1/2 a cake! NICE

Sunday we got on the road about 8:30 way later than I wanted to be leaving. I had gotten up earlier in the morning and had run down the road to dounut place and got us some donuts and me some coffee. Alan was to to be packing up our stuff so we could leave at 7. I returned to Alan not being at our trailer and nothing packed. I packed all our stuff, took the food and drink that was in our fridge over to the MOTEL 6 and packed the entire Jeep up, then cleaned up the trailer. Alan was still gone. So I waited and waited and waited! Finally about 8:20 him and his grandma walked up the road together. I was pissed off to say the least but kept my calm, I mean after all I had already eatin the woman to shreds only 2 nights before. She had taken him for a walk to talk to him about ME! Hmph! Alan took it all in stride, but he did tell me that she was upset at him and told him he needed to get a divorce from me as fast as he could and she would pay for the divorce, just to get one fast. She even offered to pay the entire mortgage on the house if he filled for divorce from me! HMPH! Alan told all this to me on the way home. I found it super funny! I told him, lets get the divorce. She never said that I could not still live or be with you. Lets have her pay the house off but we will remain together. That would really piss her off! LOL!

Anyway..we got home and our puppy dog Justin was so very happy to see us. We had a great time really, even with the family drama and the tragic death of Kelsey. It was a much needed break and mini vacation. I will blog again about the story with Alan's brother and Grandma.

We both had a good time I think. We enjoyed ourselves, even though it was for a tragic reason to be out there. It was GOOD for Alan and I mentally and physically. We left everyone except for Alans grandma and his brother in one piece as well. His brother and grandma..well..I ripped them to shreds, chewed umm up and spit them out! HA! Teach them to mess with me! LOL!!! Muhahaha! More on that story to come!

Just thought I would let you guys know were back and in full swing on this goofy house building again.

Tragedy has struck again. This time it’s on Alan’s side of the family. His 19 year old cousin was killed in a head on collision yesterday morning in Oklahoma. Unfortunately, she was at fault. Her car crossed the center line and she hit two older women. The older women are alright and stable thankfully. At this point we don’t know what or why she crossed that center line. She was on her way to take a nursing exam yesterday morning. She planned on becoming a rural nurse out in the area she lives in. Something they need very badly out there.

Alan and I will be leaving tonight to Oklahoma. Once we get off work, we will pack our stuff and head out. We plan to drive to Amarillo tonight and spend the night there, then get up early and head the rest of the way into Oklahoma. The drive is right at 14 hours. If we leave tomorrow morning even as early as 6am we would still not be there till 8pm. The funeral is at 8am Friday morning. Friday the 13th. What a sad sad day to bury a child.

This will be the 2nd child Alan’s aunt has had to bury. I can not even imagine what it would feel like to bury not 1 but now 2 of your children. Alan’s cousin was also a twin. The surviving twin is unconsolable from what I understand. Alan’s Dad and brother are already there in Oklahoma. Alan and I are getting harassed like you would not believe that we are not there already as well. We should have packed up and been there by now! Blah blah blah!

Well, I want to be there. I honestly do. But we have jobs we have to get in order, a freaking house that is NOT FINISHED AND THE BANK DEADLINE is coming up on our ass’s faster than we can put out the flames. Not to mention the money. We have very little money left after paying the stupid fine from the last deadline we did not make. We need the money that is in our savings accounts to close on the house and we can not put a single dime on any credit cards right now until the house is closed on. The cost of gas and a hotel is not going to be cheap. Sure we can stay in a 19ft travel trailer with 4 other people. UHHH..NO! My 25ft trailer would not fit that many, how the hell would a 19ft trailer fit us all. Not to mention. NO RUNNING WATER. That means no showering, or potty. Uh..NO! I will gladly pay the freaking $ 100.00 a night hotel room. Amazing how a small town can charge so much for a hotel room! I about shit my drawers hearing the prices! The under 100.00 hotels are sold out.

I swear between the house, money, a death and Hannah Montana shoes I am about ready to check into a mental asylum.

Talk to you guys when I return!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-06-11T18:44:24Z</dcterms:modified>

Forgive Me

I ask in advance that all of you forgive me for this rant I am about to let loose. I can hear all of your comments coming at me already but, I'm gonna let this one spew out of me anyway.

First off I know that I am not a fat person. I also know I am not skinny by any means. I know that just because a person weighs a certian amount that does not make them FAT or SKINNY.

That being said, Is it me, that clothes makers are getting bigger and bigger with their sizes? Is it possible that the places I just happen to shop because A) I can afford the clothes, B) I like the clothes happen to be the makers that are now making their clothes bigger and bigger. Granted some of the places I tend to shop are linked or sister stores shall we say, so at those stores larger sizes will go hand in hand at times.

Same goes with shoes. I admit I have smaller feet. I like having smaller feet too. Or as Amy has commented to me before.."how do you balance yourself being so tall and having itty bitty feet". LOL! I have always worn a 5 1/2 sometimes if I'm lucky a 6. (Nine West heels tend to be a 6) Running shoes..the opposite. I wear nothing but Nike and Addias running shoes. I have to buy KIDS shoes when I need running shoes. 4.5Y is my size!

Today, I had a lunch free to myself. What to do, what to do? I get this brialliant idea I will go see what I can spend some birthday money on. I have been looking for shoes to go with these skirts I own for well over 3 years now. I do not want heels, wedges, espardilles or whatever those freaking shoes are called. Heels are by far to dressy, wedges and esp-oh whatever the fudge they are callled are to big and chunky for my feet. You stick a huge freakin shoe like that on a foot like mine and I might as well be wearing the box, they look THAT DUMB!

I decided to look at this ALL KINDS OF SHOES FOR THE FAMILY type shoe place that I had never been. I walk around, find lots of cute shoes I don't need of course, and find not 1 but 2 pairs of shoes I think will work for these skirts. Look for my size and they do not have my size in one pair, the lady tells me they only start at a size 6. Great! I try it anyway and of course it's ginormous. On to the next pair. This shoe does not do 1/2 sizes, well alrighty then, but they do have a 5! I get excited, put the shoe on and within moments know..TO BIG. I try to walk around a bit to make sure. NOPE! TO BIG! I think, well mabye some idoit with a fat foot stretched that one out. The lady goes and gets me another box, Nope both the left and the right are falling off and flopping around on my foot.

I give up, but on my way out I walk by the little girl shoes and think of my nieces. I stop and look at some shoes for them and happen to see a pair of shoes that I think are kind of cute, all except the butterfly dingle dangle thingy. I take a better look at these shoes and think..hmph..they could work with those skirts. Not at all what I was thinking. I wonder....I look through the boxes to SIZE up just how big a 4 in little girls is. Hmph! Take my shoe off, drop this kids shoe on the floor and PRESTO! It fits! OH GOOD GRAVY! I wear a freaking kids shoe! I take my other shoe off and try on the other side. NOT HALF BAD. I put them back in the box and continue looking at other shoes for my nieces. In the back of my head thinking..IS THAT BUTTERFLY DINGLE DANGLY thing that obvious? Does it really look that much like a kid shoe. They really would work and for the price if I only wear them this summer that's fine, plus I would just be wearing them to work, my guys here would not notice if I wore a hefty cinch sack to work daily, not unless if fell off me! I go back to that isle, take my shoes off again and try them on again. Well, I ended up buying them and so help me GOD if any of you make fun of me for wearing shoes that have HANNAH MONTANA ON THE BOX I WILL KICK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOUR ASSES! TWICE!!!!

Alrighty then, so I am feeling pretty good. I got me some new shoes to go with these skirts, its sunny outside and the weather is nice, I got my smoothie in my hand and I get another BRIGHT IDEA. Lets see if we can find some jean shorts, that I have been in need of for about 2 years now. I go into this store and look around. The jean shorts are simply not going to do. Not my style at all, but I did find a pair of Linen bermuda shorts I really like and the price..OUTSTANDING! At this place I know I wear a size 2. I look and look and look through the rack and found 1 pair in a size 2. I get excited. I'm going to buy clothes today, YIPPIE SKIPPY! I see a shirt on the other side that would look SWEET with these shorts and it just so happens my new shoes are going to look good with these clothes. I head back to the fitting room and begin stippin down. I take the shorts off the hanger and look at them. Uh..they look kind of big. Huh! I un-button, hook and zip them and slip them on. GOOD GOLLY THEY ARE HUGE! Buttoned, hooked and zipped they are falling off me. The shirt XS, looks like a freakin night gown on me! I know the shirt is out of the question, they don't make shirts in an XXS at this place, but I did happen to see a ZERO in the shorts over there. The fitting lady asks me if I need anything. I ask her for the shorts in a ZERO. She goes and gets them and I try those on. This time I did not even un-button, un-zip or un-hook them first. I just tried pulling them right up and RIGHT UP they went! One light tug and they fall to the ground! SOB!

For the record, this should not be happening in my opinion. I weigh 120lbs for petes sake! Somebody who is smaller than a freakin ZERO should weigh like 90lbs. Yes, muscle outweighs fat, I know this. But I don't have muscle in my ass! I got jelly and that shit that sitcks to SPAM when it comes out of the can in my ass and thighs for that matter! I have stopped shopping at Gap because I can not fit into the clothes. I can't buy shoes at Kohls in the womans department cause their sizes start at 6 and up! I have to special order my jeans and PAY MORE money because they are special order AND I have to pay for the extra 2 inches I need. Good luck finding jeans off the rack. When I want Capri's I don't buy Capri's I just buy my size in the waist if it's at a store that does not use inseam as well in their sizing, the waiting for the flood look comes with the pants!

I GIVE UP!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-06-06T22:42:37Z</dcterms:modified>

Fly By

Hello My Friends~

This is going to be short if only for the reason that my boss is out of the office right now and I have the chance to take a much needed nap.

But I had to share this with you. Today it's a bit windy outside. I work near the University of New Mexico. I was driving back from having lunch with Alan and was sitting at a red light waiting for the green so I could turn. I was watching a girl on her bicycle cross the intersection. She had just crossed to the other side and was on the side walk, when a huge gust of wind came up and it blew her right over! I was laughing so hard! Right into the bushes! She stood up, brushed herself off a bit, looked at her hands, looked around her and got back on her bike. She began ridding again. By this time I had made my turn and was coming up behind her. A moment later the wind kicked up and blew her over AGAIN! This time right on top of the bus stop bench. PEOPLE WERE SITTING ON IT TOO! I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes! I was waiting to make my turn into my parking lot when I saw her fall over in front of the bus stop. I could have turned but decided to sit in the middle for just a moment later to see howit played out. Once she was upright, you could clearly see her apologizing to people, instead of getting back on her bike, she decided to walk.

I think that is funny!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-06-05T20:39:33Z</dcterms:modified>

Not that it matters..

For the record this is my 3rd time trying to type up this blog. My computer has frozen twice while I was trying to do this. So for the sake of my sanity I will make this short.

Not that it matters, but here are a few things rolling around in my head, things you did not know or something I'm just tossing out there for ya!

My brother got me a container of Berry Burst Metamucil for my birthday. (In april for the record, Kat..BBB. LOL) After a week of it sitting on my counter it got the best of me and I decided to try it! I liked it! Like it so much that I began to crave the stuff. I surely do not need it for it's intended purpose. Not really sure why I like the stuff..but I do! I have discovered that the darn stuff feels me up too! Once it gels in my tummy, I'm full. I think I have discovered how people starve themselves. I can drink this stuff and completely skip a regular meal. NOT A GOOD THING in all honesty but that is my confession. I drink Berry Burst Metamucil and I like it!

We had plans to go see the Indiana Jones movie Friday night. We didn't go. (booo hisss) Instead we ended up going to Home (makes my back hurt the second I walk in the freakin place) Depot. We did go to dinner though! With our friends Flagan and Victoria.

For the record as well, Alan has been in the dog house A LOT recently. Hence why he is being extra nice, sweet and cute! Making me construction paper invites, etc. Don't get me wrong, he is a good guy..most of the time. LOL! But this is him tying to get back in my good graces!

Apparently my husband is facinated with my RIPPED BACK and HUGE GUNS. All this house building has made some mucles grow that I had long long gotten to go away! (gymnastics really made me look like a dude in my arms, shoulders and back) He is constantly wanting me to "flex my guns" as he says..Or pointing them out to others around us. Earlier in the week he went to tickle my knee while I was driving(something that really makes me cranky) and I just grabbed his hand with my right arm and forced it down slowly as he fought against me. He looked at me and said.."wow honey..that was really cool..you have like super power strength" This only fed his fire more.."look at these guns, look at your back". (rolling eyes) OY VEY!

Alan and I began the Foster Parent Process in the new county we live. Kind of frustrating in my opinion. Where as Alan was never fully licensed, he was just cleared to be around me while I had children in my care. I however, due to moving county's have to go through the ENTIRE PROCESS again. From the begining! Stuff that I really should not have to start over again in my opinion. You would think since Foster Care is STATE ran that it would be the same regardless of the county I live in. Uh..NOPE! Oh well. I am hoping to have Foster Kids by the end of the summer! According to the website for CYFD. The county I live in had 81 children under the age of 2 in group or temporary placement homes waiting to go into a perment foster situtaiton.

We got a lot done on the house this weekend. It however does not seem like what we got done would have taken so long. Amazing how you can work from 8am till 10-11pm 3 days in a row and still not have as much to show for it as you would think you would have! Oh well, we worked hard and long I know that!

Good News....I got to see my NEPHEWS! WHOO HOO!! Monday my parents were having a BBQ at their house in the afternoon. Alan and I had decided that we would not attend cause we needed to work on the house so badly. However, Alan needed clean work pants and shirts, so we decided I would go over and at least do laundry. I knew my parents had invited my sister and her family but she never ever shows up, or at least rarely. But I guess she surprised everyone and showed up! I was shocked to see her truck sitting in their driveway when I got there. The boys were amazing! My mom had filled up an enitre kids size pool with water balloons and a full out war had just begun when I got there. Even my dad got involved in the balloon fight, well in his case he got the hose with the sprayer and chased the kids a bit. All the boys and my nieces thought it was funny to "GET PAW". Garrett seemed perfectly normal for himself. The only real thing I noticed was he asked what a few words ment when I said them. He's 7 most kids don't know what every single word in the english language is at this point anyway! He also asked if I he could go home with me? I said he could if his mom said it was alright. Of course she said NO but she did suggest that they come spend the night once I get the house done. So that blew my mind right there!

Sunday afternoon a little white pickup truck pulled up to our house. We did not have any clue who these people were. Alan and I walked outside and they introduced themselves as our neighobors down the road a little bit. Their property borders our other neighbors JACK AND SUE. Jack and Sue have one of Justins puppies and these other neighbors just fell in love with him. Jack and Sue told them we had one more puppy left for sale. So they had came over to see her. They fell in love with our little "Lila in the can" and ended up buying her. I was sad to see her go. I had fallen in love with her as well. The best part is of course she is just down the road and we can see her anytime we want!

Going back to last weekend when Lila got her new name from the nieces. Harley and Shelby were at my house for about 3 hours that day. That was the first time they had ever met or even known about Lila. Now fast forward to Monday at my parents BBQ. Justin goes with us when we go to my parents house, so when we got there the girls were happy to see Justin. A few moments go by, I say Hi to everyone and Harley says.."auntie Trisha..where is Lila in the can? Can I hold her?" I bend down and tell Harley that some nice people came over yesterday to buy Lila and they took her home with them, so I don't have her anymore. Well, that of course set off a fireworks display of emotion. She began crying.."I loved Lila, She was my best friend, How could you sell her away(I had to not laugh hearing SELL HER AWAY). Oh my goodness, Was Harley upset. She sat there for 45 mins just pouting and not wanting to play or talk to anyone cause "she was sad at what her auntie trisha did". Yikes! My sister talked to her for a little bit and that helped. Then my mom talked to her for a little bit and told her that she was going to get a puppy from Justin around Christmas time and that she could hold and play with that puppy. My mom asked her what should she name the puppy? Harley said.."umm..is it a girl or a boy puppy?" My mom told her it would be a boy. Harley said.."I think you should name it ALAN".

Have I mentioned Harley and Shelby have a crush on Alan? Yup..they do! When they play pretend house, their boyfriend or husband is ALAN. When they are playing on the pretend cell phones they are talking to ALAN. Harley has an imgainary friend..named..ALAN! They always want to call ALAN on his cell phone. Stacy allows them to call him once a week and they know exactly what day is their day they get to call..UNCLE ALAN. Now, here is the real kicker..when they call him..they won't talk! They just start giggling! CRACKS ME UP!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-05-28T16:24:24Z</dcterms:modified>

Oh Fun!

Hello Friends~

Let see..what to say? What to say?

It seems I never have just one thing to talk about anymore like I use to. It appears to always be more of a Miss mash mush of stuff. How boring is that? I need a good subject to blog about! Oh well. I guess you will just have to settle for what you get right?

Alan surprised me last night with something. I was in total shock at least. Alan and I have been car pooling to work for months now to save money, time (cause I can get us to work on time) and to keep the miles down on both vehicles. I guess it helps the enviroment as well. Anyhoo, on the way onto our road, I stopped and got the mail from the mail box. I grabbed out our stuff and was sorting through it without thinking and came across this envelope. I thought...It's a little late for somebody to be sending me a birthday card. It was address to Mrs. Alan Blah blah blah and in very pretty writing as well, but no return address. Alan was talking on the phone to his dad and I had begun driving down our road but was opening this envelope.

Inside this envelope was an invitation. A hand made invitation. One with stickers and crayon writing. Alan was offically asking me on a date Friday night. To go to dinner and the movies. Even a movie of my choice! I was so excited I shrieked like a mouse! (that is what alan said I sounded like). Apparently, his office managers daughter had left her construction paper and crayons there over the weekend. So when he had to work on Saturday and the shop was quiet he got the idea to ask me on a date. The pretty writing? The mail lady's, she waited till he finished it and he had her address it in her handwriting as to throw me off a bit! He thought we might need a little night out. I think he is right! Although we truly do not have the time to go out for an evening, hopefully it will re-new our energy to finish this darn house!

I won again! Everymonth I enter the Lucky Magazine Sweepstakes. Every once in a while I actually win something. I never win the really big, good stuff, like Vacations or 5000.00 shopping sprees, but some of the stuff is not half bad. My mom called a bit ago and said I had a box that came in the mail. I told her to open it! It was a Rose Salve from Bath and Body works! Sweet! I just looked online and realized there was a shopping spree from Bath and Body works for May. Why could I have not won that! Apparently I won something I entered to win back in March! Better than nothing!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-05-22T22:04:31Z</dcterms:modified>

Rhyme and Reason

We shall call this entry Rhyme and Reason. Because there will be no rhyme and reason to what I will say next. Maybe I should have called this off the wall? Anyhoo..I digress.

Garrett: No real clue as to how Garrett is doing. Apparently the subject is TABOO and nobody knows. My sister accepted my phone call on her birthday but said very very little to me about anything. What I do know is this: Garrett stayed home from school on my sisters birthday cause he had a headache and was having personality problems. (according to my brother Garrett has a new personality at times almost like being bi-polar?) Garrett can ride a bike just fine still and was jumping his bike off the bike ramp on Saturday before mothers day. I know he is still in school only part time and continues to work with the thearipists.

Brandon: He too I have no clue about. My sister finally took a call from me about a week after Brandons birthday so I could finally wish him a happy birthday. He seemed fine and was happy to hear from me. He wanted to know when he could see me again. I told him that I would need to make arrangements with his mom so we could have some play time. He said..oh..well..I guess I will see you in 6 months cause that is all mom ever lets us see anybody. Poor guy. I am going to have to go to the race track on Saturday night soon. They are all there every Saturday night. My BIL is racing and my sister is the paramedic on staff. My brother is there every other Saturday , he at least gets to see the boys and gives us updates when he can.

House: Were getting closer. We did not make the deadline. We paid a fine. We have till the end of next month or we get another fine. I can not pay another fine. I will become an even bigger hooker slut to pay for this house. Pictures and SPACES do not get along with my computer at all. I have tried to upload them from my home computer, lap top and from this one and have the same problem. I might need to load them on to my Photobucket or Face book account but I will try to take pictures soon and post them.

Parents: My dad is on track to recieve the lap band surgery soon. The surgeon has yet to set a date with him but it will be soon. He will have to travel to Scottsdale for the surgery and about 6 months worth of follow up appts as well. Which might be a good thing..I can go with him a few times and maybe have a little mini vacay from my life! I took my mom to a little resturant south of where I live the Satruday before mothers day then took her to the local garden nursery to pick out some flowers. She was happy with that.

Little things: A few weeks ago it was late at night and Alan and I were grouting the tile down the hall way. I had backed up a bit and was moving my grout bucket back when out of the corner of my eye I saw something. I turned my head towards it and thought to myself..DID THAT GROUT CLUMP JUST MOVE? No sooner did I say that and IT MOVED! It was the biggest darn spider I had ever seen in my life! HUGE! I yelled for Alan and to 1. look at it and 2. kill it! He agreed with me that it was a large spider. Not nearly as big as he has seen growing up in Oklahoma but still big. Before killing it we measured and played with it a bit. It's body was the size of a quarter! Add the leggs and it was about the size of a silver dollar. Remind me why I wanted to live in the country again?

Alan and I have began calling this last puppy Lila McCann. (one hit wonder country singer) Don't ask me how this name got started. It just happened. Yesterday my brother, SIL and my nieces came over to see the progress on the house. The girls fell in love with this puppy, but had a little bit of difficultly saying her name. I only said the full name once but of course that is all the girls heard and out of that came.."LILA IN THE CAN". So all afternoon I heard "LILA IN THE CAN...HERE LILA IN THE CAN".

The kids stayed for lunch. The girls were inside the trailer with mem, were sitting at the dinning table and I was cutting up some cantalope to go with our burgers. I had cut one of the cantalopes in half and put it to the side. Shelby grabbed the whole half and dove face first into the cantalope. I said.."Oh..Shelby..No" She pulled her face up out of the cantalope and said.."Shelby love cantalope...I's thristy so I just drink this now". Well OK...I took the half away from her long enough to scrape out the seeds, handed it back to her and she proceeded to eat that whole half! Dove her face right in it and just scraped with her teeth. She left a rind bowl behind. Needless to say it was all over her face, hair, hands, etc. Damn camera for not being charged and I could not find the charger anywhere. I did get a pic on my cell phone but lord only knows where the cable for that is.

Well guys tha's about all the excitement I got for you today! Have a good night everyone!

But per my BFF Kat I have changed my font and size so y'all can read it better. Do you guys know how I can see my blog like you guys see it? From my end before the change it looked just fine but I would suspect it was not! LOL!

Mabye I should change the color too. The green back ground and this color font is kind of stressfull on your eyes as well. I will do that!

Go ahead and add HUGE MONSTER WET TILE SAW to my list of heavy machinery I can use! I have been tiling my bathrooms for about a week now. I must say they are AWESOME TOO!

We sold all but one puppy now. I would not be sad if this one did not get sold. HOWEVER, I would be much happier if she was not a 5:30 wake up call either.

Nothing else new or excting in my world. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-05-16T19:06:24Z</dcterms:modified>

Remember when?

Remember in a recent blog entry of mine I said I wanted to sleep. That late nights were kicking my hiney?

Well let's add to what prevents me from sleeping even more. This time..I can't blame the house. But rather my MIL. On Friday, her and my FIL left from Albuq. to fly to Oklahoma to my SIL graduation from OSU. They stopped just long enough to drop off 3 of Justin's puppies. Yes...3! 1 male and 2 females. The male and one of the females is 10 weeks old and the other female only 7 weeks old. They told no one they were bringing these puppies and would be leaving them with us to sell since she was not able to sell them herself. Does this mean I get to keep the money? Hmph!

Thankfully our neighbor Jack who already has one of Justins puppies knew somebody that fell in love with his puppy and wanted to buy one as well. We sold the male on Saturday morning. He was to cute for words I tell ya. I almost cried when he left and I had only been with the little guy for less than 24 hours. Of course my parents wanted to buy the male if we did not sell him as well.

So that leaves us with the females. Both are very good girls. Very cute and very active, curious little things. They go to bed at a fairly reasonable hour but they also get up at an un-reasonable hour. Well, I guess I can not say that. It would be just fine to get up at 5:45 if I had not gone to bed only 5 hours before. The longest I have gotten them to sleep so far..6:12am! Oh fun for me!

This also means, pee, poop, barf, bathing and extra food and water duties for me! By no means should the husband ever get up to take care of these animals, remember to feed, water or even pay attention to where they might have wondered off to. OH NO..that would be a SIN!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-05-06T18:30:35Z</dcterms:modified>

Conclusion

I have come to the conclusion that tiling floors is ment for short people. If you are under 5"5 then tiling floors is your calling and you shall never be without a job.

That's it..that's all I have to say today. Buh Bye!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-05-05T15:38:57Z</dcterms:modified>

Tagged

These are the rules.

1. I can not have the AC or Heat in a car on the top vents where it blows in my face. The feeling of the air on my face makes me really angry and aggitated.

2. The only time I dip my fries in ketchup is if they are really sucky fries. I prefer them to just have lots of salt.

3. I can not have any fat or grissel on my meat before it goes in my mouth. I will barf on contact if I taste or feel it.

4. I don't know if this is a quirk but rather a testement that I am a mean person..Lately..I have been running my shopping cart into the back of people that stop with their cart right in the middle of the entrance. Ie: Costco, they grab their cart, go in the door, show their CARD then stop right there in the middle of the way to put it back or put their keys away or get a list out, whatever it may be. I use to just say.."that's a real intelligent place to stop" and keep walking. Now, I just HIT UM..and when they get hurt or freak out..I say...WELL YOU SHOULD NOT STOP RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FRICKEN WAY and keep walking. It's rather amazing that I have yet to get into a fight. Most people around me or behind me..say..THANK YOU for doing that I hate it when people do that. I just say YOUR WELCOME and continue about my shopping!

5. We have 2 spoons here at work for coffee. 1 plasitc and 1 metal. I have to use the plastic one because I swear the metal one makes my coffee taste like metal. Anywhere else a metal spoon is alright.

6. I have to have more quirks but I am out of time and out of things to list that I have not listed before.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-04-29T15:11:19Z</dcterms:modified>

I can do it!

I sit still long enough to type a blog up for you guys and not fall asleep! I CAN DO IT! Lately..any sitting and I'm down for the count!

Quickly seeing as how I need to leave in about 20 mins.

Garrett is doing well as far as I know right now. The last I spoke to my sister was on Thursday for my birthday. Garrett went home from the hossy on Wednesday last week and would be going to school for 1/2 a day on Monday to have the teacher, occupational and physical therapists assess him to see what level he is at. How that went, I have no clue. My sister has taken herself and her family back into seclusion and has not returned anyones phone calls. But just the fact Garrett is still with us today is good enough for me at this point. Thank you to all of you for praying for him and my family!

Me, the house is kicking our butts right now. We are down to the wire and it's not looking good for us to meet our deadline. We have been working on the house till 12-2-even 4 in the morning some nights trying to get this thing done. It's so frustrating cause so much of our work is dependent on contractors. CONTRACTORS THAT SCREW YOU OVER AND LIE TO YOU! ASSHOLES!

I look like a man, a contractor man. Now I have never considered myself the girly type..but I am by no means the manly kind either. I want a manicure! I want to put my clothes on in my house and still be clean 15 mins later when I leave my house. I do not want to have dirt and dust on my shoes all the time. I do not want to polish my shoes at work anymore.. I want more than 2 weeks clothes in my closet at all times. I don't want to have to get into a storage container every time I want to wear something new. I want o wear nice clothes again. Not just jeans and shirts that have no style and color! I want to do my hair and not have the blow dryer or curling iron trip the breaker in the middle of it! I want to take a shower and not have the stucco guys disconnect my well from my travel tralier while I still have conditioner in my hair and soap on my body, only to have to pour bottled water into a bowl and microwave it so I have enough water to finish cleaning myself! I want to wash laundry in my own home and not have to go to a laundry mat and spend 20 dollars and listen to a bunch of crying screaming kids or better yet the woman that is really a man that works there. HE FREAKS ME OUT! I want to SLEEP IN! I want more than 4 hours of sleep! I want those 4 hours to not be crowded with thoughts of this house and money and time frame to finish. I want a drink! A large alcoholic beverage! Does that defeat the purpose of getting my 1 year of sobriety coin? Did I tell you all about that one? Oh..it's kind of the funny story! I want to make a real dinner. I want to eat dinner at a reasonable hour. I want to eat food period and not skip an entire day worth of meals because I JUST DON'T HAVE TIME TO EAT.

I want to relax. That's all I want..I guess I should have made this entry title..I WANT instead of I CAN DO IT. Cause at this point..I'm not sure I can! But I will never the less. I will do it. What I have no clue but it will be good and it will be big!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-04-24T22:37:54Z</dcterms:modified>

Up Swing

Once again THANK YOU to each and every one of you that has prayed for Garrett, Brandon and my family. Your thoughts and prayers could never be re-payed.

Garrett continues to defy the odds against him. He has had some rough days but also some very good days too. Of course he is still in the hospital and he continues to get better each and every day. He is up and walking and talking, that of which is a miracle in itself. He does have some coordination issues. Such as balance. Nothing real big..just a bit wobbley. He is going to have to re-learn some things. Which was to be expected. He oddly enough has food aversions. I would never have thought about that being a big deal but according to his Phys and Occup therapists and doctors it actually is. For example..EGGS. He loved loved loved...EGGS. Now..NOPE! Oh is he adamant about NOT LIKING EGGS. "MOM...YOU KNOW I HATE EGGS". Hmph! Nobody is to tell him different either. We are suppose to just say..Oh Ok..Sorry about that, type of a comment. But not say..NO GARRETT..YOU DO LIKE EGGS. He put his shirt on the other day and he kept telling my sister..."MOM, YOU GAVE IT TO ME BACKWARDS". My sister checked to make sure the tag was in the back and it was but Garrett was sure it was on backwards!

He continues to struggle with light, sound, movement, to many things at one time. They said this will be a challenge for him until his brain forms new neuro-pathways and re routes everything. He read an entire Curious George book to my sister the other night. My sister said it was 16 pages total with 5-7 sentences on each page. She said he did not struggle with his words, sounds or struggle to focus on the words.

Brandon and Josh returned to school yesterday for the first time since the accident. I have not heard as of yet how they are doing back at school and how it went for their first day back. I hope to hear something from my sister later tonight. I did not mention in the previous posts that the place they live in is very small town and everyone talks. So by the time it got around to everyone the story had changed into something very different than the truth. Especially from a child’s stand point. Stories were being made up by the kids they go to school with that were just horrible! I mean HORRIBLE. I pray my little guys were not hurt by any of the other kids comments or lies about them. It would break my heart to hear they were being treated horribly because of it.

Again..Thank you to everyone. You guys are the best!!!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-04-15T23:00:39Z</dcterms:modified>

Update

Thank you to all my friends who have been praying for my nephew and my family. You all do not know how important it is to me!

Garrett seems to be doing better. My sister finally let me see him yesterday. He looked much better than I thought he would and was doing amazingly better than anyone ever thought was possible. He was awake when I got there but had just woken up. My sister says he tends to be in pain shortly after he wakes up. He was very agitated by his leeds and his IV lines. They were just bothering him. He told us his head hurt. My sister asked him if he knew who I was and he blinked and turned away. My BIL had him say my name and his said AUNTIE TRISHA. My heart just sunk when I heard those words. He was moving his arms and legs. Crying out in pain and falling in and out of sleep. Noise, light and movement really aggitates him as well. Everyone has to remain really quiet and still. Especially when he is sleeping. His brain tries to process the movement, sounds and light(from the tv etc) around him and it sends his brain waves kind of whacky. My sister had me take two of my other nephews for a little while yesterday so they could get out of the hospital room for a while. I took them to lunch and to find some quiet games they could play in the hospital room. Brandon seems to be doing alright. He is upset still. They had just released him from the Psyc unit that morning and is on a light anti-anxiety medication. He was smiling and calling me silly names. Not quite himself but not the child he was Sunday or Monday either from what I understand. Nobody knows what the long term outcome will be for Garrett. It's still to early to know. It could be weeks or even months before they really and truly know. The neurosurgeon was there yesterday when I returned the boys to the hospital. He was saying that Garrett is breaking all the odds against him. He is doing better beyond what anyone could have imagined. The doctor said he is a miracle! A GOD given, helped out by prayer from all of you MIRACLE!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-04-09T17:26:25Z</dcterms:modified>

PLEASE PRAY

Please Pray for my 7 year old nephew Garrett. He was accidently shot in the head on Saturday. The bullet went directly through his brain and logged on the other side of his skull. We have not been given good hope of a full recovery. They have him sedated and will not know the exact damage for a few more days. They told us before he went in for surgery on Saturday that he had a 20% chance of life.

Please pray for Garrett. For my sister and her husband. For my nephew Brandon who shot him and for our entire family!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-04-07T17:14:33Z</dcterms:modified>

Salad

I'm craving SALAD! Not your basic run of the mill salad either. OH NO!!! I'm talking about "WHAT WAS THE POINT OF HAVING A SALAD IN THE FIRST PLACE" type of salad.

You know what I am talking about. The one where the caloric intake is equal to 2 BIG MAC'S, AN EXTRA LARGE ORDER OF FRIES, 5 GIRL SCOUT COOKIES and 12 M & M's!

I mean..honestly..what is the point in having a salad then right? I guess you do get the vitamns still from the veggies. You just get an extra huge helping of FAT along with it!

Aww...poop! I guess this concludes my blog for the day. I am needing to make a delivery for my office and Alan is needing to go home for the day. He had ANOTHER accident at work on Thursday and is not suppose to be at work today per the doctor anyway. However, his company needs him to weld some stuff. Now how does a right handed welder weld with his left hand cause his right wrist is broken? Guess who can weld? ME! Nobody in that company can. So Alan wants me to come over and finish what he needs done so he can leave for the day and rest.

So till Monday guys!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-04-04T18:08:08Z</dcterms:modified>

Fuzzy Hang Over

3 days in a row..don't go have a heart attack on me now!!

How is it that I have the fuzzy hung over feeling and yet have not had an alcoholic beverage in months? Oh yes..I know how..LACK OF SLEEP!

Last night once again was a late night. We made it to bed before 1am but just barely! I mean barely! If I did not need to knock out a payroll today and Alan did not need to save his days off for when we really need to be home house wise, I would have had us stay home and sleep!

I think Alans friend Ben is suppose to be here tonight or tomorrow night but I have no clue. I need to clean up the trailer a bit. You would think seeing as how that trailer is so small that it would be quick and easy to clean. NOT SO MUCH! Being that there is tons of dirt all around us and the wind is blowing and we need to leave a window open for our dog it can get quite dusty in there, clutterd cause there is just no where to put stuff, my husband can be a slob and of course no time to clean as I go along...2 hours average to clean that thing! I guess that is part of what I will do tonight.

We have an employee that works for us that I have long suspected has a drug problem. He just has the I DO DRUGS look to him. He is very nice, very smart, a good engineer, etc..but still has the I DO DRUGS look to him. About a year ago I happened to notice his arms and it looked as if he had some tracks beginning to develop. A little later I learned he was being tested for a heart problem so I chaulked it up to having his blood drawn lots recently. This morning he was telling me a story and his nose was running really badly on one side. About an hour ago he came to tell me something and I noticed that same side that was runny was covered in WHITE. I stood around the corner for a little while watching him when he did not know it and watched him not only wipe his running nose with the back of his hand..but then lick it back off. Very common amoung the cocaine users!

Now mind you I have suspected him to be a sniffer all along. I have said it out loud to the boss and other employees that he is either a crank user or cocaine user. Basicly the same thing! To that all of them have replied..How can you tell. Well guys..I just can! I mean you watch somebody close enough and you can tell what drug they use just by looking at their face. Either that or I am a drug Psychic or something and seriously should get a job working with drug addicts.

Hmmm..what to do! I honestly don't think that Dan would give a rats ass about it if I told him about it. I really like this employee and would not want to see him be fired but at the same time I think he needs to get some help. In the mean time until I decide to tell Dan I guess I am going to devise a way to get him some help for when I or Dan or both confront him. Have some type of HELP PLAN for him. Either that or I need to tell Dan WE NEED TO DO SOME DRUG TESTING. As soon as a user hears that they usually quit their job suddenly!

Well, it looks like the boss is in the office now. I need to talk to him about a raise and a bonus he is going to give me today but does not know it yet!

Muhahahahaha~!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-03-27T22:28:25Z</dcterms:modified>

Care to take a guess?

Two blogs in two days? Could you just die?

This house is going to be the death of Alan and I. I kidd you not! Anyone care to take a guess as to what time we quit working on the house last night? Anyone?

This week we are finally getting our insulation in! WHOO HOO! We had to take everything out of the house and put it someplace else to avoid getting the insulation on it. We are doing a SPRAY FOAM insulation and that stuff will stick to EVERYTHING and you can't get it off real well. But we also needed to finish some wiring for the surround sound in the living room, some internet, ethernet, computer dork something or other as well throughout the living room and run the wire for all the security cameras. Plus, I had to sweep out the entire house, then vacum every nook and cranny through out the entire house from top to bottom where ever the insulation is going to go. The best part is I will have to do this all over again after the insulation is done and before the drywall crew comes! YAY ME!!!

Now our next door neighbor that builds cookie cutter homes for a living will tell you there is no need to do all that sweeping and vacuming before hand. To that I said.."you don't have allergies do you"? Of course his reply was NO. I then asked him.."so when you build your houses you guys leave all the dust, dirt, saw dust and wood shavings in the wall and just insulate and drywall over it"?

To this he replied YES! NICE DUDE!!! The wonder your houses suck!

We also got the septic tank dropped in yesterday. HOLY MOLE is that a big container to fill up with SHIT! LOL! I told Alan..good think we got the big one...cause a smaller one would have taken you NO TIME TO FILL UP. The system is pretty neat though how it all works. It's very MODERN and enviromently friendly as well!!

I decided to say something to Alan again about his sisters graduation in May during our drive home yesterday. He said.,,let me call Tori and I will feel her out on it. So he called! He told her..."Trish and I were trying to make arrangements to come out to your graduation and wanted to talk to you further about it". Her answer.."WHY? Uh...DID I SEND YOU AN INVITE BY ACCIDENT"? Hmm...Well that right there told me my answer! Alan said, " Well I thought that since Mom and Dad could not make it you might like to have at least someone besides (their grandma, aunt and cousins there)?" She said, "Well if I wanted you there I would have asked you to come, I have to go" and she hung up the phone. I looked at Alan and said....I expected that oddly enough. He said..I did too but thought it would be nice to try to be nice to her. I said..why, she is only nice to you when she needs something right? He said..exactly!

I guess that ends the debate on going to her graduation or not! LOL! And of course is she wants to continue to live her fully paid for lifestyle then not having her parents there is a must as well so they can continue to work like slaves to support her!

So do you give up on how long we worked on the house till last night? Maybe I should say..THIS MORNING.

2am folks! 2AM! Man..I am not a young person anymore! Only 2 years ago and I could stay out that late with friends and be drinking on top of it and still get up on time to get to work on time and be happy the next day. NOT SO MUCH ANYMORE!

Well, not much of a Easter weekend for us. The house is all consuming. For good reason but still CONSUMING. Friday night we went riding along the river for a little while with Flagan. That was nice to just get out and ride. It has been so long since I have really ridden that my legs were a bit sore and wobblely when I finally got off! LOL! We also made the weekly HellDepot run. I hate that place already. Hate everything aboout it. I will be so happy when I don't have to go in there on a weekly basis if ever again!

Saturday Alan had to work for a little while. He was also meeting his mom in town to give her the female dog back. Thankgoodness too, that dog was on my last nerve. Really she is a great dog but when she started to block my Justin from being near us..well the momma bear came out in me and I was having none of that. Justin is my baby and he was here first! LOL! Flagan and I worked on the house together getting things ready for the insulation this week.

Sunday my dad came over and we started on the tongue and grove under our patios. We spent the entire day doing that. My mom had to work Saturday night and would be sleeping all day Sunday before having to get back up and leave for work again Sunday evening so there was not going to be any Easter Activities for any of us. It felt weird since normally Easter is my favorite holiday. Next year will be different though!

Alans sister will be graduating from OSU in May. We had been talking about going to OK to see her graduation but it's not looking good for us at all. The only possible way we can go is if the house is done and it's going to be a close! I thought she should at least have some of her family from here there. Alan's parents are not going either. Neither one of them can leave their jobs to attend. I kind of feel bad but at the same time..the house has got to come first. Oh well.

I hope everyone is having a good week!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-03-25T17:27:37Z</dcterms:modified>

Chunks

I think CHUNKS is an appropriate title for this blog seeing as how I am about to give you CHUNKS of my life as I know it currently. Plus, since my life makes you want to HURL CHUNKS it doubles the appropriateness! FUN HUH?

This past weekend Alan’s BFF came to town with his Dad. Alan had not seen his BFF since our wedding so he was quite happy to spend time with him! Alan was seriously counting down the hours till Ben got here!

We had a great time hanging out with Ben Saturday and half of Sunday. We decided to go to Elephant Bar for Dinner on Saturday night and I was helping Ben pick up girls! I swear that dude has the worst taste in the world! When I finally got sick of him thinking the ugly ones were decent I asked him "Why..why are you attracted to that type of person?" His answer.." cause the ugly fat ones are easy and usually to stupid to figure out they are being used, plus they tend to have less of a possibility of STD’s cause they don’t get laid as much". Well, there went my dinner folks. See I told you CHUNKS was a good title!

The wind was blowing so hard this weekend. More so on Sunday than on Saturday. After we all went to breakfast Sunday morning and took Ben back to his Stepmoms house so he and his dad could go home, Alan and I returned back to our house to grab our laundry and head to Albuquerque. The wind had blown our large carport tent over and it landed on top of a tree, the scraps of Pro Panel, garbage, etc was scattered everywhere around the yard. Hence leaving CHUNKS of everything all over the yard!

On Thursday last week Alan’s retard, I mean his brother, came to Albuquerque and brought the last breeder female that was in heat. This female Shelby is twice the size my Justin is and well, Justin was having quite a hard time trying to GET TO HER. Finally on Sunday morning as Ben and I were talking Justin happened to be standing on Ben’s leg trying to GET to this female and well...HE DID! Seeing as how this female has never been breed before..She took off like a bolt of lighting with JUSTIN still attached and dangling by his little pecker! She kept trying to jump up on the couch with Justin still attached. Ben and I had to grab both dogs, figure out which way Justin was rotated (we did not want to rotate him the wrong way and TWIST things more) then do our best to keep both of them calm until things UNLOCKED. This female was crying like a stuck pig and Justin was just looking up at us..LIKE HEY...I DID IT!!! OH THAT HURTS! OH..HEY I DID IT!

Over the course of the last few days this has continued to happen and Alan and I have been witnessing some pretty nasty doggie porn. Of course all of this action has created a nickel size sore on the side of Justin’s little weeiner. It looks as if he has an STD! I told Alan this in humor and he mentioned this to his Mom yesterday when he called her. She says to him.."well it’s possible she does have an STD with all these reservation dogs running around..you never know what they might be carrying". When I heard her say that I about blew CHUNKS out my nose cause I was laughing so hard while eating a breakfast bar! Dogs don’t get STD’s but my MIL is quite sure that THEY DO. I am happy to report the female is being returned to my M IL tomorrow!

Yesterday our CPA called us to tell us that we would be PAYING the IRS this year instead of getting money back! I thought..no this can’t be right..we should not be owing. Not with the house, land, travel trailer etc... Well, guess what folks..we jumped TAX brackets..No cause we made more money. Which I thought was the only reason you jumped brackets in NM. NOPE..cause we got FRIGGEN MARRIED! Yup..2007 is the first year we claimed married. Married couples have LESS taken out of their checks..which I knew and of course was elated to have more money in my pocket every paycheck since claiming married. But they also get taxed at a higher rate here in NM than a single person. I thought..no that can’t be right! So I did my homework yesterday and today and did some research. SURE FRIGGEN ENOUGH..Married couple tax rate is a whole 3% higher than 2 single persons combined! Which happens to be the exact difference we are going to OWE this year!

Now, if that does not make you want to blow CHUNKS, throw CHUNKS or just suck CHUNKS I don’t know what to tell you!

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2008-03-20T17:26:37Z</dcterms:modified>

Oh Yeah, I forgot...

I was just over at BBB space reading one of her blogs where her BFF told her a story of a little girl that thought a Firemens clothing is EWWWWW!

This reminded me of something that Harley(4 year old niece) recently said. The Saturday Alan almost fell off the roof my brother had came over to help us and brought my SIL and my nieces. The last time the girls had been out at my house we had the horses there with us and Alan and I had taken them riding. Later in the day Alan's Dad had came over and took the horses back to Gallup with him. Harley was still there at our house when my FIL came to get the horses and she had thanked him for letting her ride his horses.

Fast forward to Saturday. What seemed like every hour on the hour Harley would say..."tell uncle Alan to tell that guy to bring Playboy and BJ to your house on Sunday so I can ride them at 10 o'clock PM" I kept telling her.." I will tell uncle Alans daddy to bring the horses for us to ride the next time he comes". I don't know if she did not believe me or hear me but she kept saying the same thing over and over and over.

Monday...She is riding in the truck with my brother, having no clue as to what day of the week it is or when SUNDAY actually was she says to my brother, "uncle alan is going to tell that guy to bring Playboy and BJ over so I can ride today on Sunday at 10 o'clock PM" My brother says.."well sweetie, I don't think Alans Daddy Greg is going to be able to drive this far to bring the horses over so you can ride". Harley said..."oh...cause he has to sit on the potty today?" (my brother said he looked over at Harely and was laughing at her but she had a very serious and confused look on her face) My brother said..."no, sweetie because he has to work". Harley said.."oh..sometimes I have to work too when I am in the potty" My brother said.."you have to work sometimes huh?" Harley said.."yeah..sometimes it's hard to make potty so I have to work like this(wiggles back and forth in her car seat)"

My brother said he was never so thankfull for a red light at that exact moment cause he was laughing so hard he had tears rolling down his face.

<img src="http://c.services.spaces.live.com/CollectionWebService/c.gif?cid=-4
